The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) and the visiting Glen Rock Panthers (Glen Rock, NJ), saw West Essex's lacrosse team achieve victory over Glen Rock by a margin of 11-6.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers enter the Waterman challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Glen Ridge was overwhelmed by Summit (Summit, NJ), 13-4, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
