New York High School Lacrosse - Penfield can't get by West Islip

In Thursday's non-league test, the host West Islip Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Penfield Patriots.

The Lions now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kings Park for a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. West Islip will face a Kingsmen squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Center Moriches (Center Moriches, NY). The Kingsmen record now stands at 5-0.

In their next game, the Patriots face the West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 9. Penfield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-7 league win over Iroquois (Elma, NY).
