The Weston Trojans lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the host Pomperaug Panthers to 5 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Iona Prep nudged Bronxville (Bronxville, NY), 14-7, in a non-league match.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats go into the South West match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Brookfield was overwhelmed by Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT), 10-9, in a non-league match.
