The Comets now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Van Buren for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11.

With the loss, Gainesville falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Seymour (Seymour, MO) to face the Tigers in a Class 2 District 4 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Seymour won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Conway (Conway, MO)
