The Huntsville Panthers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Baker Hornets to 1 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers come into the game with a record of 9-16. Grissom lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)

In their next game, the Hornets play the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 5. Baker will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 13-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Male (Louisville, KY).
