Bayshore Bruins (Bradenton, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Family Christian Academy Mustangs (Port Charlotte, FL), 21-4 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Braden River for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Bayshore will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Family Christian Academy falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Booker (Sarasota, FL) to battle the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
