Beaumont School Blue Streaks (Cleveland Heights, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Streaks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Walsh Jesuit for a Crown challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Beaumont School will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 17-11 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Shaker Heights falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Mentor (Mentor, OH) to battle the Cardinals in a Greater Cleveland challenge on Friday, April 5. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Mentor lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against North (Eastlake, OH)
