The Plato Eagles (Plato, MO) softball routed the host Bourbon War Hawks (Bourbon, MO), 14-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Steelville (Steelville, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Steelville was routed by Dixon (Dixon, MO), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
The War Hawks now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grandview for a Class 2 District 3 bout on Friday, April 5. Bourbon will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to West County (Leadwood, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
