The Coconino Panthers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Moon Valley Rockets to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Coconino improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Panthers host Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, April 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 7-4. Goldwater lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline game, on Tuesday, April 9. Moon Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Titans come into the game with a 9-8 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ).
