The Fairfax Lions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 6 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Fairfax moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Lions host Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Patriot game on Friday, April 5. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 1-3.

In their next game, the Generals clash with the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 8. Washington-Liberty will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA).
