Wheaton Bulldogs (Wheaton, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount Rebels (Fairmount, ND), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Verona for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Wheaton will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Shanley (Fargo, ND) to battle the Deacons in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Deacons enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
