Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Georges Tech for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6.

With the loss, Sussex Academy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
