The South Iredell Vikings softball team (Statesville, NC), was routed 6-3 in Thursday's non-league test with the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC)

Coming up next, the Raiders encounter the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A test, on Friday, April 5. South Rowan will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 10-3 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).

The Vikings (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Mallard Creek tipped Chambers (Charlotte, NC), 17-2, in a league test.
