The Jenks Trojans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Berryhill Chiefs to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.
The Trojans now hold a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Salina for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Jenks will play a Wildcats team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Bixby (Bixby, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-5.
With the defeat, Berryhill drops to 14-5 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Verdigris (Claremore, OK) to play the Cardinals in a Verdigris Valley test on Monday, April 7. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 16-5. Verdigris won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK)
