The Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS) baseball trounced the visiting Tonganoxie Chieftains (Tonganoxie, KS), 11-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Timberwolves now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. Blue Valley Southwest will clash with a Lions team coming off a 5-2 league win over Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Tonganoxie drops to 4-4 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Paola (Paola, KS) to clash with the Panthers in a Frontier challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 5-1.
