In Friday's non-league game, the host Central Knights baseball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Scituate Spartans.

The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 2 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Burrillville by Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI), 2-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Spartans play the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 5. Scituate will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Wave go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI).
