The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) and the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA), saw Cherokee's baseball team gain a win over Johns Creek by a tally of 9-3.

The Warriors (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles enter the AAAAAA Region 5 battle with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, Etowah was overwhelmed by Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Gladiators face the Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 7. Johns Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).
