The Lions now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pecos for a 2A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Santa Rosa will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.

With the defeat, Gateway Christian drops to 3-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Cimarron (Cimarron, NM) to clash with the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Cimarron lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Logan (Logan, NM)
