The Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID) baseball got by the host Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID), 5-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Senators now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kimberly for a 4A Sawtooth Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Gooding will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 19-4 non-league win over South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Salmon drops to 2-4 on the year. The Savages travel to West Jefferson (Terreton, ID) to clash with the Panthers in a 3A Nuclear challenge on Friday, April 11. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
