The Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) baseball trounced the host Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT), 16-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwich RVT for a Connecticut Technical - East challenge on Wednesday, April 9.
With the defeat, Parish Hill drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to clash with the Ravens in a Capital Region Athletic challenge on Monday, April 7. The Ravens go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
