In Friday's non-league game, the visiting South Lyon Lions baseball team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Pioneer Pioneers.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains enter the Lakes Valley game with a 2-0 record.
