Ohio High School Lacrosse - Avon overwhelms Riverside

The Avon Eagles lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Riverside Beavers to 8 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bay for a Region 5 outing on Tuesday, April 8. Avon will face a Rockets squad coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Hoover (North Canton, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 0-3 on the year. The Beavers travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to face the Lancers in a non-league outing on Monday, April 7. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Gilmour Academy won 14-9 in their recent league outing against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
