In Friday's non-league test, the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA), by a count of 21-13.
Next up, the Lions battle the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a test, on Monday, April 7. South Fayette will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Fightin' Planets enter the test with a 6-0 record after their 17-1 league win over North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA).
The Black Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs enter the test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Canon-McMillan was overwhelmed by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 15-2, in a non-league test.
