Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) and the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), witnessed Herndon's lacrosse squad top Wakefield School by a count of 12-1.

The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Fairfax was overwhelmed by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 14-13, in a league test.

Next, the Fighting Owls battle the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 5. Wakefield School will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Seahawks enter the test with a 5-1 record after their 10-4 league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA).
