Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), 13-10 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Lake Catholic improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. The Ramblers come into the game with a record of 1-2. Cathedral Prep lost 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Boardman (Youngstown, OH)

The Trojans now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadville for a game on Friday, April 11. McDowell will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
