Arizona High School Softball - Poston Butte drops to Coconino

April 4, 2025: Flagstaff, AZ 86004

Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), 12-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Coconino improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Panthers host Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ) to face the Thunderbirds in a game on Friday, April 11. The Thunderbirds enter the game with a record of 9-1.

The Broncos now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mohave for a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. Poston Butte will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-1.
