Ohio High School Softball - Mentor bounces South

In Friday's non-league match, the host Mentor Cardinals softball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the South Rebels.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Nordonia was routed by Aurora (Aurora, OH), 17-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. South will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 1-1 record after their 15-1 non-league win over North (Eastlake, OH).
