St. George's Gryphons (Collierville, TN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Arlington Tigers (Arlington, TN), 7-6 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, St. George's advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Gryphons host Houston (Germantown, TN) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the test with a record of 4-2. Houston won 19-0 in their recent league test against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN)

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Collierville (Collierville, TN). The Dragons enter the 2A Region 4 D1 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Collierville was tipped by Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN), 9-1, in a non-league test.
