North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Western Guilford drops to Cornerstone Charter

April 4, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27410

In Friday's non-league test, the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 19-8.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test, on Wednesday, April 9. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record.

The Hornets (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the Metro test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Southwest Guilford was overwhelmed by Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 14-3, in a non-league test.
