New York High School Lacrosse - Kingston overwhelms Newburgh Free Academy

April 4, 2025: Kingston, NY 12401

In Friday's league contest, the host Kingston Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-8 triumph over the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 9 Division I contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Monroe-Woodbury was overwhelmed by North Rockland (Thiells, NY), 9-8, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Goldbacks meet the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a Section 9 Division I contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bushmen go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY).
