The Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) lacrosse nudged the host Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC), 8-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Iron Horses now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host May River for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8. Philip Simmons will face a Sharks squad coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Sharks record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Laurence Manning Academy falls to 9-4 on the year. The Swampcats travel to Hammond (Columbia, SC) to face the Skyhawks in a SCISA AAA Region I outing on Monday, April 7. The Skyhawks go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Hammond won 14-4 in their recent league outing against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC)
