Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY), 15-2 in a league battle.

With the victory, Minisink Valley advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 3-0.

The Wizards now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornwall Central for a Section 9 Division II battle on Monday, April 7. Washingtonville will encounter a Dragons team coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 5-0.
