The Addison Knights triumphed over the visiting Hammondsport Lakers softball squad by a count of 17-5 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the Wellsville Lions (Wellsville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 7. Addison will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY).
The Lakers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Naples (Naples, NY). The Big Green Machines enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Naples was routed by Avoca Central (Avoca, NY), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.
