Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Anoka upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Elk River (Elk River, MN) to face the Elks in a Northwest Suburban contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Elks enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Elk River won 5-1 in their recent league contest against Osseo (Osseo, MN)

The Eagles now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a Northwest Suburban contest on Tuesday, April 8.
