In Friday's non-league match, the host East Ridge Raptors softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Centennial Cougars.
The Raptors (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) in a Northwest Suburban match, on Tuesday, April 8. Centennial will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
