Ohio High School Softball - Jefferson Area succumbs to Champion

In Friday's non-league test, the Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH) softball squad routed the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), by a margin of 13-0.

The Golden Flashes now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey test on Tuesday, April 8. Champion will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Crestview (Columbiana, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.

The Falcons (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Austintown-Fitch prevailed over Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH), 13-3, in a non-league test.
