The Meade County Green Waves softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Decatur Red Raiders to 0 in the Green Waves non-league win on Friday.
The Green Waves now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. Meade County will confront a Valkyries team coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Butler (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Decatur moves to 2-21 on the season. The Red raiders host Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 19-5. Mars Hill Bible won 22-1 in their recent non-league battle against Sheffield (Sheffield, AL)
