The Gladstone Gladiators softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Stayton Eagles to 1 in the Gladiators non-league win on Friday.

The Gladiators now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. Gladstone will confront a Huskies team coming off a 23-17 non-league win over Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Stayton moves to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles host Astoria (Astoria, OR) to confront the Fishermen in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Fishermen come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Astoria won 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Banks (Banks, OR)
