The Huntingtown Hurricanes triumphed over the host Thomas Stone Cougars softball squad by a count of 21-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes play the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. Huntingtown will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).

The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines enter the Southern Maryland challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Westlake was routed by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 17-1, in a league challenge.
