Next, the Cougars clash with the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a 3A District 1 test, on Tuesday, April 8. Tohatchi will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 13-11 non-league win over Northwest (Shiprock, NM).

The Mavericks (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Hozho Academy held off Thoreau (Thoreau, NM), 18-2, in a non-league test.
