The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA), observed Pacifica's softball team get by Mission Viejo by a final score of 3-0.

The Mariners (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs go into the non-league bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Esperanza was routed by El Modena (Orange, CA), 9-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Diablos battle the Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a South Coast bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Mission Viejo will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 1-0 league win over Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA).
