In Friday's non-league match, the host Thomas Jefferson softball team scored a nice 18-1 victory over the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs.
The (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Bonnabel was routed by Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 17-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Patriots go into the match with a 6-10 record after their 20-3 non-league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA).
