The Spencer Rockets triumphed over the host Northland Pines Eagles softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rockets play the Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 7. Spencer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Shawano Community (Shawano, WI).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Antigo (Antigo, WI). The Red Robins enter the Great Northern challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Antigo was routed by Marshfield (Marshfield, WI), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
