Phillips Exeter Academy Lions (Exeter, NH) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA), 20-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Phillips Exeter Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Highlanders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lexington Christian Academy for a Eastern Independent game on Monday, April 7. Pingree will play a Lions squad coming off a 17-6 league loss to Dana Hall (Wellesley, MA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
