California High School Baseball - Santa Fe nips Walnut

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Walnut Mustangs.

The Chiefs (6-4) will now prepare for their game against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers go into the game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, La Serna nudged El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA), 4-2, in a league game.

Next, the Mustangs play the Ayala Bulldogs (Chino Hills, CA) in a game, on Wednesday, April 15. Walnut will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
