Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), 12-1 in a non-league match.

The Rams (9-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, St. Pauls notched a victory over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 16-11, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Titans confront the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 6. Heide Trask will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the match with a 5-7 record after their 16-11 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).
