The Woodhaven Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Edison Academy Pioneers to 5 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Catholic Central (Novi, MI). The Shamrocks go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Catholic Central by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 19-4, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Edison Academy falls to 2-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Saline (Saline, MI) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Saline lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Westfield (Westfield, IN)
