The Griswold Wolverines baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Putnam Clippers to 3 in the Wolverines league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their match against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, East Lyme ran past Montville (Oakdale, CT), 3-2, in a league match.
The Clippers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Mighty Tigers go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Windham RVT was overwhelmed by Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 14-1, in a non-league match.
