The Hastings Tigers baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Seward Bluejays to 3 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Packers go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Omaha South was overwhelmed by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Seward falls to 3-8 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to encounter the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lincoln Northeast won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Pius X (Lincoln, NE)
