In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Southwestern Academy Sun (San Marino, CA), by a final score of 20-0.
With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Tornados travel to Muir (Pasadena, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a Pacific challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Muir lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)
With the defeat, Southwestern Academy falls to 1-1 on the season.
